In light of the recent earthquake in Nepal
Our topic this evening is on 'Natural Disasters'
It is incumbent on every Muslim to be aware of the Fiqh ul Waqi.
Fiqh ul Waqi means Current Events
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) said in the Quran surah At Tawbah verse 71:
The believers, men and women, are Auliya' (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islam has forbidden); they perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give the Zakat, and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah will have His Mercy on them. Surely Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (At-Tawbah 9: 71)
How can you become friends and protectors of each other, if you don’t know the Fiqh al Waqi of each other?
EVIDENCES FROM HADITH ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF FIQH AL WAQI'
Abu Musa (RA) reported: ‘Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “The relationship of the believer with another believer is like (the bricks of) a building, each strengthens the other.” He (SAW) illustrated this by interlacing the fingers of both his hands.’ [Al-Bukhari (481) and Muslim (2585)]
Any man who is not concerned about the welfare of the Muslims, is not one of us.
It was narrated from Abd-Allaah ibn Masood (RA) that the Prophet (SAW) said: "Whoever starts his day caring about something other than Allaah has nothing to do with Allaah, and whoever does not care about the Muslims is not one of them." [Narrated by al-Haakim in al-Mustadrak (4/356)]
Where is your brotherhood and sisterhood?
Narrated by An-Nu'man bin Bashir: The Prophet (SAW) said: “The likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion is that of one body; when one part of it suffers, the rest of the body joins it in staying awake and suffering fever.” [Al-Bukhaari (6011) and Muslim (2586)]
VARIOUS TYPES OF NATURAL DISASTERS
1. HEAT WAVE
In the summer of 2003, France had a heat wave where more than 10,000 people died. (11,435 death toll recorded on BBC)

It was tragic reading how the children of the deceased had left their old parents out to rot & die on the streets because the burial costs are astronomical.

Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship, and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, Al-Masakin (the poor), the neighbour who is near of kin, the neighbour who is a stranger, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (you meet), and those (slaves) whom your right hands possess. Verily, Allah does not like such as are proud and boastful; (Nisa: 36)
Those who are miserly and enjoin miserliness on other men and hide what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Bounties. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a disgraceful torment. (Nisa: 37)
These people store their dead in freezers for weeks before burial.
Funerals are like parties.
How can you spoil a person when they are dead?
If you want to spoil a person, do it when they are alive with gifts & joyous occasions.
But this is jahil culture - pure heartless ignorance.
And (also) those who spend of their substance to be seen of men, and believe not in Allah and the Last Day [they are the friends of Shaitan (Satan)], and whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as an intimate; then what a dreadful intimate he has! (Nisa: 38)
As Muslims however, we bury our dead As Soon As Possible.
In countries like Saudi, the rich and the poor are both buried the same way:
penny less because the only thing they take to the graves is their deeds

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) turned to us and said: 'O Muhajirin, there are five things with which you will be tested, and I seek refuge with Allah lest you live to see them: Immorality never appears among a people to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases that were never known among the predecessors will spread among them. They do not cheat in weights and measures but they will be stricken with famine, severe calamity and the oppression of their rulers. They do not withhold the Zakah of the wealth, but rain will be withheld from the sky, and were it not for the animals, no rain would fall on them. They do not break the covenant with Allah and His Messenger, but Allah will enable their enemies to overpower them and take some of what is in their hands. Unless their leaders rule according to the Book of Allah and seek all good from that which Allah has revealed, Allah will cause them to fight one another. [Sunan Ibn Majah]
4. HURRICANE
The unforgettable hurricane Katrina.

Mad cow disease came about because these evil men began feeding meat to herbivorous animals, cows.
7. FOOT & MOUTH DISEASE
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) spoke about it in surah Rum Verse 41
Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]. (Ar-Rum 30: 41)
This ayah is Referring to diseases like Foot & Mouth and Mad Cow Disease
The cow was created by Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) to eat grass, but these men began feeding it with meat. Why? Because Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) said:
Allah cursed him. And he [Shaitan (Satan)] said: "I will take an appointed portion of your slaves; (Nisa: 118)
Verily, I will mislead them, and surely, I will arouse in them false desires; and certainly, I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss. (An-Nisa 4: 119)

On Saturday the 25th April 2015 we saw a 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu.
It was terrifying; earthquakes are terrifying.
Did you know that Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Terrorizes people
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) uses the word Terror in the Quran 21 times
We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allah, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers). (Aali Imran 3: 151)
Do not water down the Quran in your translation.
Do not hide the Truth.
Do not refuse to say what Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) says.
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) says He Terrorises the kuffaar and He commands us to terrorise the kuffaar as well:
(Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes." (Al-Anfal 8: 12)
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) has promised He would cast terror into the hearts of the disbelievers.
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) has Commanded us to terrorise the kuffar:
[Sahih Int'l] And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged. (Al-Anfal 8: 60)
Allah sets forth a Parable: a city enjoying security and quiet, abundantly supplied with sustenance from every place: Yet was it ungrateful for the favours of Allah: so Allah made it taste of hunger and terror (in extremes) (closing in on it) like a garment (from every side), because of the (evil) which (its people) wrought. (An-Nahl 16: 112)Yusuf Ali
The FBI cannot take out the source of the terror for a natural disaster.
There is no doubt that the Terror that you see coming to the people of Kathmandu is because of their sins:
“Anas (RA) says, “I went into the presence of Aishah (RA) whilst someone else was seated with her. The person asked, ‘O Mother of the believers, relate to us regarding earthquakes (as to their cause)’ She turned her face away. I (Anas) asked her, ‘Relate to us regarding earthquakes, O Mother of the believers!’ She said, “O Anas, if I were to inform you thereof, you will live a sorrowful life and you will die in this state of grief and you will be raised on the Day of Judgement whilst this fear is in your heart.” I said, “O Mother, relate to me.” She then said, “When a woman removes her clothes in a house other than her husbands (an indication towards adultery), she tears the veil between her and Allah. When she applies perfume to please a male other than her husband, this will be a source of fire and a blemish for her. When the people then begin to commit adultery, consume alcohol and use musical instruments, Allah becomes enraged above the heavens and orders the Earth to shake them. If they repent and refrain, then it is good for them, otherwise Allah will cause it to fall upon them.” I asked, “Is this their punishment?” She said, “It is rather a mercy, means of blessings and admonishment for the believers, and a punishment, display of anger and torment for the unbelievers.” [Mustadrak al-Haakim (4/561) No. 8575 and Kitab Al-Fitan (2/619) No. 1729]
What you saw in Kathmandu, was brought on to them by themselves.
It is incumbent on you to understand this:
Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allah, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself. And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) as a Messenger to mankind, and Allah is Sufficient as a Witness. (An-Nisa 4: 79)
'Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allah, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself' (Nisa: 79)
This is our Aqeeda, and you cannot change our understanding.
The Cause of Allah's Natural Disasters is their shirk and their sins:
And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwa (piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So We took them (with punishment) for what they used to earn (polytheism and crimes, etc.). (Al-A'raf 7: 96)
They commit a lot of zina and worship false deities
They commit Shirk.
Shirk is the greatest crime against Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)
They commit crimes against humanity
Did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our Punishment by night while they are asleep? (Al-A'raf 7: 97)
Or, did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our Punishment in the forenoon while they play? (Al-A'raf 7: 98)
Did they then feel secure against the Plan of Allah. None feels secure from the Plan of Allah except the people who are the losers. (Al-A'raf 7: 99)
When you see these natural disasters, you (the Muslim) should turn to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) with tawbah. In any calamity you should beg Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) for His Forgiveness.
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." (Zumar: 53)
Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah , and indeed to Him we will return." (Baqarah: 156)
Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided. (Baqarah: 157)
Only a looser feels secure against the Plan of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)
They think they are so smart that they can build highways and hotels..

And make the city earthquake proof
But when an earthquake is going to strike, no scientist can predict it & no army can save you because Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) said in Luqman Verse 34:
Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is AllKnower, AllAware (of things). (Luqman 31: 34)
It was reported that when there was an earthquake, Omar Ibn Abd al-Azeez
(rahimahullah) would write to his governors telling them to give out charity.
Anas Ibn Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: “Indeed charity extinguishes the Lord’s anger and it protects against the evil death." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi: Vol. 2, Book 2, Hadith 664)
When you see these earthquakes, give away in sadaqa because your Lord (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) is angry
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) asks the kuffaar a question in Surah Mulk verse 16:
Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not cause the earth to sink with you, then behold it shakes (as in an earthquake)? (Al-Mulk 67: 16)
You are living in dunya committing zina, homosexuality, going to pubs and doing all types of sins, and you still feel secure?
Reading surah Mulk will save you from the punishment of the grave.
Many surah Save you from something, if but you knew..
Natural disasters occur when people stop giving sadaqa
The scholars know this because of the Hadith:
Abdullah ibn Amr (RA) narrated the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Those who are merciful will be given mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One above the heavens will have mercy on you.” [Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 40, Hadith #4941]
When people become stingy and stop giving charity, when they have no mercy in their hearts for the poor, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) rains down natural disasters on them.
Prophet SAW 'Beware of being stingy, for it destroyed those who were before you, as it encouraged them to cut their relations and they did, and it encouraged them to commit sin and they did.' (Ibn Kathir Tafsir, Surah Nisa Verse 37)
Take Turkey for example. The Turkish soldiers got drunk and started playing football with the Quran. Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) struck them down with an earthquake. And this was a Sign from Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala).

The kuffar dismiss this as nothing but an unfortunate incident in history.
Another cause for natural disaster is when you refuse to enjoin the right and forbid the wrong. This is a duty upon you, the Muslim:
Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. (Aali Imran 3: 104)
On the authority of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (RA) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” [Sahih Muslim (1/69) No. 49, Musnad Ahmad (3/10) No. 11088, Sunan Ibn Majah (5/145) No. 4013, Sunan Tirmidhi (4/469) No. 2172, Sunan Abu Dawud (1/296) No. 1140, Sunan al-Nasa'i (8/112) No. 5009]
If you don't at least hate the evil in your heart, you have not fulfilled one of the pillars of shahadah: 'To love & hate for the sake of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)'. Thus you have become a kaafir.
Some Muslims don't have a problem with the homosexual for example:
On the authority of Abu Umar who said: Allah sent two angels to destroy a township with a natural disaster, but when they got there they found a man praying in the mosque. They went back to Allah and said: 'O Allah we found a man praying in the mosque.' Allah said to the two angels: 'Go back and destroy the township with that man as well because not once did he ever frown when he saw the people indulging in haram.' [Ibnul Qayyim, al-Jawaab al-Kaafi (Vol. 1, pg. 46)]
The man from this town didn't even frown when he saw the munkar!
When you don't enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) will Visit you with a natural disaster.
And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial, etc.) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict all the good and the bad people), and know that Allah is Severe in punishment. (Al-Anfal 8: 25)
This ayah is talking about good people who lived with bad people. Those who did not enjoin the right and forbid the wrong even though it is a religious duty
To prove to you the sins cause a natural disaster:
Narrated Ibn Namir from Abdullah from Naafi‘ from Safiyyah who said: The earth shook at the time of ‘Umar, and he addressed the people and said: “If it happens again, I shall definitely abandon you and leave.” [Ibn Abi Shaybah in al-Musannaf (Vol.2, pg. 221) No. 8335 and ibn al-Jawzi in Al-Muntazam fi Tarikh al-Muluk wal-Umam (Vol.4, pg. 295)]
So, what makes you think that what happened is not from Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)?

Did you know, Earthquakes don’t occur in Makkah or Medina because of the dua of Ibrahim (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) in surah Baqarah Verse 126:
And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, "My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He (Allah) answered: "As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!" And did you know that an earthquake after the establishment of Khilafah in Al Quds (Syria) was prophesized:
The Holy Prophet (saw) said: ‘Oh, Ibn Hawalah, if you see that the Khilafah has come to the sacred land (Al-Quds), then the earthquakes, the troubles, and the great happenings have come, and the hour on that day is nearer to the people than my hand here on your head.’” [Sunan Abu Dawud (3/19) No. 2535 and Mustadrak al-Haakim (4/470-471) No. 8305]
Brothers and sisters, you have lived to see yet another prophecy, another hadith that has come to pass. A Khalif lives in al-Quds right now. ALLAHU AKBAR
As-Shaam means Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine – it is not limited to Syria
Question #1: Asalaamualaikum Shaikh. An atheist was trying to trap me regarding the 2006 Indonesia Tsunami happening in a MUSLIM country (i.e. why is God Punishing Muslims?). I responded that the Tsunami was a 'Mercy' to the pious believers amidst the death toll, because God Almighty RESCUED them from having to live in the crap economic conditions imposed on them by the World Bank/IMF/UN/etc. Hence the pious believers (from the Muslim death toll) are in a much better place now, than the cesspit this planet has become from the monumental degenerate stupidity that is ruining this planet's economy! Answer 1: The BBC said all the buildings were flattened in that tsunami except the Masjid. They used the same material to build the Masjid as they used for their homes. The base that was hit was a tourist resort.

There is no point in you being Muslim by name and not practicing
There is no such thing as a non-practicing Muslim: that is an oxymoron
An oxymoron is a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction: when two words contradict each other and you try and put it into the same sentence
If you don’t practice Islam, you are a kaafir. The evidence is Surah Tawbah Verse 11:
But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, then they are your brothers in religion; and We detail the verses for a people who know. (Tawbah: 11)
Please remember our aqeedah is that, 'Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allah, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself' (Nisa: 79)
This we cannot change.
Question #2: We have some brothers in our community who have Shia friends, who say all Shias are not kuffaar because they all don't believe in the same things. I classify all of them as kuffaar. Can you give me the correct under standing concerning this issue?
Answer 2: If a person says that I am a Shia, it means he was brought up with Shia parenting. They usually aren't aware of what being a Shia actually is:
SHIA HUJJAH: It is a fundamental principle of faith that our (Shia) Imams have ranks higher than the ranks of angels & God's prophets. (Khomeini's book, Hukuma Islamiya, p. 52)
Shittes refute many ayaat of the Quran, like this statement of theirs defaming Aysha (radiyallahu ‘anha), even though Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) proclaimed her innocence in Surah Nur:
SHIA HUJJAH: The Shia believe that at the time of Mahdi’s return Imam Mahdi will resurrect Aisha (Prophet Mohammad’s wife) and execute the law of Hudud on her, for committing Zina (adultery) during her marriage. (Al-Anwar Al-Numaniyah, vol. 1, p. 161, Tafsir al-Shafi, vol. 2, p. 108, Haq al-Yaqeen, vol. 2, p. 256, Hayat al-Qulub, vol. 2, p. 611)
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) cleared Aysha (radiyallahu ‘anha) name in Surah Nur Verse 11:
Verily! Those who brought forth the slander (against 'Aishah the wife of the Prophet SAW) are a group among you. Consider it not a bad thing for you. Nay, it is good for you. Unto every man among them will be paid that which he had earned of the sin, and as for him among them who had the greater share therein, his will be a great torment. (An-Nur 24: 11)
As you can see with this one point about Aysha (radiyallahu ‘anha), a shia is always seeking to veto Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala).
Again you can see how they refute ayaat such as Surah Hijr Verse 9 with their pathetic claims that the Quran is corrupt:
SHIA HUJJAH: The present Quran is in an altered, corrupted and distorted form.. (Fatuhat-e-Shia, p. 129)
Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption). (Al-Hijr 15: 9)
How can a Shiite be our Muslim brother or sister when they don't even believe in the same Book? The Holy Book that the entire Ummah of Rasoolullah (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) unites on:
'And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (i.e. this Quran), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islamic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.' (Imran: 103)
How can shitte be one with us if they believe Imam Mahdi will call to Allah using the wording of the Israeli's not the wording Given to Us by Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) in the Holy Quran?
SHIA HUJJAH: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Saeed al Uqdah attributes to al-Mufadhal ibn Umar saying that Abu Abdullah [as] said: “When the Imam Mahdi makes a call (for prayer), he will supplicate to God using God's Hebrew name and then his three hundred thirteen friends (followers) will rush to him...” (An Numani, Al-Ghayba , p. 326)
How can the shittes be our brothers if they believe their messiah will come to kill us and desecrate & destroy our Kaaba?
SHIA HUJJAH: Al-Majlisi narrated, “Al-Muntazar (the Awaited One, meaning Imam Mahdi) will walk amongst the Arabs and kill them.” (Baqir al-Majlisi, Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 52, p. 31)
SHIA HUJJAH: “When Imam Mahdi appears, he will demolish Masjid al-Haram and dismember the hands of the Bani Shyaibah, then hangs them on the Kaaba and writes on it, 'these are the hands of the thieves of Kaaba.'” (Al-Mufid, Al-Irshad. p. 411 and At-Tusi, Kitab al Ghaibah, p. 282)
How can the shittes be Muslims, people who believe in the shahadah, if they believe their messiah will not believe in the sunnah of Muhammad SAW?
SHIA HUJJAH: In a narration attributed to Imam Abu Abdullah [as.], he said: “Once al-Qaim (Imam Mahdi) from the household of Muhammad appears, he will rule using the law of David and Solomon, he will not ask for evidences.” (Al-Kulaini, Usul al-Kafi, Vol. 1, p. 397)

The Prophet (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: 'Whoever performs mut'ah once will receive the status of Hussain. Who ever performs mut'ah twice will receive the status of Hasan. Whoever performs mut'ah thrice will receive the status of Ali and who ever performs mut'ah four times will receive my status. (Tafseer Manhajul Sadiqeen: 1: 356)
Shia are a cocktail of kufr, shirk and zandaqah

They say their Imams can't make mistakes but Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) can make mistakes

Question #4: Someone may say that the last hadith you mentioned regarding al quds in the hadith is occupied Palestine area. How to respond to that?
Answer 4: Al Quds and Sham covers Syria, Palestine and Jordan.
For example in the hadith:
Prophet SAW said, “Blessed is (Greater) Syria.” We said: Why is that, O Messenger of Allah? He said: “Because the angels of the Most Merciful spread their wings over it.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (no. 3954); he said: Hasan ghareeb. Also narrated by Imam Ahmad in al-Musnad (35/483, Mu’sasat al-Risaalah edn.), classed as saheeh by the commentators and by Shaykh al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (no. 503)).
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) has Blessed Sham, he is talking about the whole region
Question #5: salamun Alaika sheikh. Just a side note, the 1989 San Francisco earthquake being that the San Francisco is the gay capital of USA, and the 1994 northridge, CA earthquake is the porn capital of the US.
Answer 5: Yes, San Francisco is the gay capital for the whole world as well as Northridge. That was because of their sins as Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) says in surah Araf Verse 96:
And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwa (piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So We took them (with punishment) for what they used to earn (polytheism and crimes, etc.). (Al-A'raf 7: 96)
Then they denied him and they killed it. So their Lord destroyed them because of their sin, and made them equal in destruction (i.e. all grades of people, rich and poor, strong and weak, etc.)! (Ash-Shams 91: 14)
Question # 6: Sheikh if earthquakes happen in Muslim lands like Turkey and Iran what does that mean for them?
Answer 6: These lands are called, Dar ar-ridda = the land of the apostates
They used to be Muslim
Another Dar ar-ridda is a place like Pakistan. Most of the people worship the grave or taghoot there.
Bangladesh is another Dar ar Ridda because they believe in democracy and have legislated prostitution as legal
Sheikhs don't teach Aqeeda in these countries, they need to teach Tauheed.
They focus on fiqh, when they need to teach the people Tauheed.
Tawheed is what will ultimately get you entrance in Jannah.
Question 7: Who are the sincere ulema in our times?
Answer 7: The people who back up what they preach with Quran and Sunnah. They call for Tawheed, shariah, khilafah these are sincere scholars.
On the authority of Jabir the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "... Jihad is compulsory on you until Judgment Day..." [al-Mu'jam al-Awsat al-Tabarani (5/95) No. 4775 and Abu Naeem al-Asbahani in 'Hilyatul Awliya' (3/73)]
There are very few English speaking Scholars who are on the Haqq.
Scholars such as Anwar Awlaki (rahimahullah) and Ahmad Musa Jibril (hafidhahullah) are probably the only two English speaking sheikhs that are on the Haqq.
Question 8: Is there any dua Muslims can make that will cause Allah’s punishment to occur upon the kuffaar nations?
Answer 8: Yes, in Qunoot there is dua. We read this after every Jummah and witr, for example:
Allahumma a'izzal Islama wal Muslimeen, Allahumma a'izzal Islama wal Muslimeen, wa adhillash shirka wal Mushrikeen, wa dammir a'daa’ad deen, wahmi hawzatal Islami ya rabbal-alameen.
Oh Allah! Raise the standing of Islam & the Muslims. Oh Allah! Raise the standing & the Muslims, & Degrade the standing of Kufr & the Kaafireen, & Shirk & the Mushrikeen. Destroy the enemies of the Deen, & protect the lands of Islam, Oh Lord of the Worlds.
Allahumma khudh-um akhdha zeezin muqtadir, Allahummaj'al id da’irata alayhim, Allahumma arina feehim yawman aswada
Oh Allah Annihilate them with Your authority & power, Oh Allah! Let all they have done be done to them. Oh Allah Show us their black day.
Allahumma shattit shamlahum, wa mazziq jam'ahum, wa kharrib diyarahum, wa dammir aslihatahum. Allahumma anzil 'alayhimul a'aseeral mudammira wal amradal fattaaka
Oh Allah! Disperse their gatherings & Shatter their unity, Demolish their houses, Destroy their weapons. Oh Allah! Send upon them destructive hurricanes, & fatal diseases.
Allahumma ahsihim adada, waqtul-hum badada, wa la tughadir minhum ahada, waj'alhum ibratan li amthalihim minal yahudi wan nasaara wal mushrikeena adhillatan saaghireen
Oh Allah! Count them & Kill them selectively, & do not Leave a single one of them, & Make them an example for their likes among the yahuudi, nasaara, & mushriks, humiliated & abased.
Allahumma munzilal kitab, mujriyas sahab, hazimal ahzaab, ihzimhum wa zalzilhum, wa arina feehim aja iba qudratik, fa innahum la yu'jizuunaka ya qawiyyu ya 'Aziz
Oh Allah! Revealer of The Book, Controller & Dominator of the clouds, Defeater of the armies of Your enemies defeat them & Make the ground shake beneath their feet, & show us in them the wonders of Your Might, for they are weak before You. Oh Mighty, Oh Powerful!.
Allahumma Ameen. Allahumma Ameen. Allahumma Ameen.
Oh Allah! Please Accept. Oh Allah Please Accept. Oh Allah! Please accept.
Question 9: Did any of the sahabah pray the fard salah then lead their family in salah? Is this permissible?
Answer 9: Yes, a sahabah called Muadh ibn Jabal use to do it. He would pray with the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) & go home and pray with his family in prayer (the same salah) after he left
The Hanafi don't agree but we now have Evidence to prove otherwise.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: Mu'adh bin Jabal used to pray with the Prophet and then go to lead his people in prayer. Once he led the people in prayer and recited Surat-al-Baqara. A man left (the row of the praying people) and offered (light) prayer (separately) and went away. When Mu'adh came to know about it, he said. "He (that man) is a hypocrite." Later that man heard what Mu'adh said about him, so he came to the Prophet and said, "O Allah's Apostle! We are people who work with our own hands and irrigate (our farms) with our camels. Last night Mu'adh led us in the (night) prayer and he recited Sura-al-Baqara, so I offered my prayer separately, and because of that, he accused me of being a hypocrite." The Prophet called Mu'adh and said thrice, "O Mu'adh! You are putting the people to trials? Recite 'Wash-shamsi wad-uhaha' (91) or'Sabbih isma Rabbi ka-l-A'la' (87) or the like." (Bukhari, Bk 8, V 73, Hadith 127)
