This surah is a Makkan surah, it was revealed in the Makkan stage
All the incidents in the surah took place before the hijrah.
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 7
What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) say and why was It revealed?
And even if We had sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) a Message written on paper so that they could touch it with their hands, the disbelievers would have said: "This is nothing but obvious magic!" (An'am: 7)
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed this ayah because the pagans said
They would never believe in the Rasool (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) until
He brought them a book that they could touch and have four angels testify that
He (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) was the Messenger of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)
When they put this demand on the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed Surah An’am Verse 7
Accusing Prophets of magic is an accusation that all the previous Prophets had to endure
It is a modus operandi of the infidels
When they saw the moon split, they accused the Prophet of putting a spell on their eyes:
The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder (the people of Makkah requested Prophet Muhammad SAW to show them a miracle, so he showed them the splitting of the moon). (Al-Qamar: 1)
And if they see a sign, they turn away, and say: "This is continuous magic." (Al-Qamar: 2)
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 13
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) say and why was it revealed?
And to Him belongs whatsoever exists in the night and the day, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing." (An'am: 13)
The Pagan Arabs thought that perhaps the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) was inviting them to Islam because he had needs
So they decided to pile up wealth and offer it to him
They offered to make him the richest man from Quraish
With the condition that he stopped preaching Islam and to leave them alone to practise paganism
When they made the offer to the Rasool (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed Surah An’am Verse 13
Abu Talib said to Muhammad (ﷺ) “O my brother’s son if you didn’t stop I am afraid that they will hurt you” the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) emotionally replied “O uncle by Allah if they put the sun in my right hand the moon in my left hand on condition that I abandon this course, until Allah has made me victorious, or I perish therein, I would not abandon it" The Prophet (ﷺ) got up, and as he turned away, his uncle called him and said, "Come back, My nephew," and when he came back, he said, "Go and preach what you please, for by Allah I will never forsake you. Ar Raheeq Al MaKhtum (The Sealed Nectar) Page 105} [Ibn Hisham 1/265]
The offer that they made is unbecoming
It is an indecent proposal
The kuffaar believe that every man has a price
Every munafiq has a price BUT NOT every man has a price
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 19
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Say and why was It Revealed?
Say (O Muhammad SAW) : "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qur'an has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Can you verily bear witness that besides Allah there are other aliha (gods)?" Say "I bear no (such) witness!" Say: "But in truth He (Allah) is the only one Ilah (God). And truly I am innocent of what you join in worship with Him." (An'am: 19)
The chiefs of Makkah went to Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) and said:
"O Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) we see that no one believes in what you are preaching about your messenger-ship. We have asked the Jews and Christians about you and they claim that nothing is in their books about you. So show us a person who can be a witness that you are the messenger of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)”
When they made that demand, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Revealed An’am: 19
One can not have any doubt that Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) is the Messenger of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)
The evidences are overwhelming.
Although the Quran was revealed over 1400 years ago, it contains many scientific facts that are only discovered recently.
‘The Seas not Mingling with one another’: http://miraclesofthequran.com/scientific_50.html
‘He released the two seas, meeting [side by side];’ (55: 19)
‘Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses.’ (55: 20)
‘So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?’ (55: 21)
Take a look at verse 10 of Surah Luqman:
He has created the heavens without any pillars, that you see and has set on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein. (Luqman: 10)
‘In 10 other verses, the Quran Emphasizes the role of mountains as stabilizers for the Earth’s outer surface (or lithosphere)…’
Dr El Naggar, ‘Geological Concept of Mountains in the Quran’ page 50:https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=-g2W2eZ8Mh4C&pg=PT14&lpg=PT14&dq=mountains+in+the+quran+naggar.+luqman+10&source=bl&#v=onepage&q=mountains%20in%20the%20quran%20naggar.%20luqman%2010&f=false
Another astonishing scientific Fact Revealed in the Quran is the 'lying sinful forelock'
A lying, sinful forelock! (Alaq: 16)
‘The Region that controls our movements’:http://www.miraclesofthequran.com/scientific_52.html
Verse 92 of Surah Yunus was the ayah that sparked Maurice Bucaille's reversion to Islam:
So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs , revelations, etc.). (Yunus: 92)
For 3,000 years the body of pharaoh was preserved at the bottom on the ocean floor
Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) predicted that his first wife to die would be the one with the longest hands (the longest hands means the kindest in giving charity):
Narrated Aysha: Some of the wives of the Prophet (SAW) asked him, "Who amongst us will be the first to follow you (i.e. die after you)?" He said, "Whoever has the longest hand." So they started measuring their hands with a stick and Sauda's hand turned out to be the longest. (When Zainab bint Jahsh died first of all in the caliphate of Omar), we came to know that the long hand was a symbol of practicing charity, so she was the first to follow the Prophet (SAW) and she used to love to practice charity. (Sauda died later in the caliphate of Muawiya).
The Rasool (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) also said that Ammar ibn Yaasir
(radiyallahu ‘anhu) will be killed by the rebellious group and that came to pass:
Also in the decisive and widely known tradition which al-Bukhari, at-Tirmidhi, Ahmad ibn Hanbal, and all the narrators of Islamic traditions and historians transmitted through twenty-five Companions that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said about Hazrat Ammar ibn Yasir (Radiyallahu Anhu): "Alas! A rebellious group which swerves from the truth will murder Ammar. Ammar will be calling them towards Paradise and they will be calling him towards Hell. His killer and those who strip him of arms and clothing will be in Hell." [Al-Bukhari, at-Tirmidhi, Ahmad ibn Hanbal]
The Rasool (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) never lies, he (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) had said that Constantinople would be the first to be conquered and that also happened:
Narrated Yahya bin Ishaq from Yahya bin Ayoub from Abu Qabeel who said: We were with 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al 'Aas and he was asked which city will be conquered first Constantinople or Rome? So 'Abdullah called for a sealed trunk and he said, “Take out a book from it”. Then 'Abdullah said, ‘Whilst we were with the Messenger of Allah writing, The Messenger of Allah was asked, “Which city will be conquered first, Constantinople or Rome?” So Allah's Messenger said: “The city of Heraclius will be conquered first." meaning Constantinople.’ [Musnad Ahmad (2/176) No. 6645, Mustadrak al-Haakim (4/59😎 No. 8662, Sunan Darimi (1/430) No. 503]
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 25
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Say and why was It Revealed?
And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; if they see every one of the Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old." (An'am: 25)
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed this Ayah because the Chiefs of Makkah
Heard the Rasool (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) reciting the Quran
Then they asked Al Nadr Ibn al Harith (enemy to the Prophet)
What Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) was saying
Al Harith swore by the Lord of the Kaaba that he didn't know what he was saying
Except that his lips were moving and that he is muttering something
He said that Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) speaks nothing but fables from the people of old
He would say that he (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) is muttering something similar to
The stories that he relates about the bygone nations
Al Harith would invite people to listen to his stories and not to listen to the ayaat Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) would relate
Al Harith was a fortune-teller and a story teller
He was competing with the prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) to take people away from him
This is why Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Revealed An’am: 25
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 26
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Say and why was It Revealed?
And they prevent others from him (from following Prophet Muhammad SAW) and they themselves keep away from him, and (by doing so) they destroy not but their ownselves, yet they perceive (it) not. (An'am: 26)
This Ayah was revealed because the chiefs of Makkah prevented others from following Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) and they themselves did not follow the religion of Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
There are two types of kuffaar:
1. He does not follow Islam, but does not prevent others from following Islam
2. He refuses to follow Islam and prevents others from following Islam
Abu Jahl fell into the second category
The second type is classified as a kafir on a warpath & he must be killed because he is preventing others from following Islam: he has declared a war against Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala).
He doesn’t want the baraka (blessing) and doesn’t allow anyone to enjoy the baraka
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 33
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) say and why was It Revealed?
We know indeed the grief which their words cause you (O Muhammad SAW): it is not you that they deny, but it is the Verses (the Qur'an) of Allah that the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong¬doers) deny. (An'am: 33)
Some chiefs of Makkah asked Abu Jahl if Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) was speaking the truth or was he (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) a liar.
Abu Jahl was the greatest enemy of the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) and yet still he said Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) was a truthful man and has never lied, not even in his jokes.
But he then when on to say that if his (Muhammad) tribe should take office of being custodians of the Kaaba, provide water for the pilgrims and on top of that Prophethood,
Then there will be nothing left for the rest of Quraish.
Because of this envy, Abu Jahl rejected Rasoolullah (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)'s messenger-ship.
Thus, we can conclude that envy was the reason why Abu Jahl rejected the messenger-ship of Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
Another chief of Quraish – Al Waleed Ibn Mugheerah rejected the message
Because he believed he had more money than the rasul (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
And so deserves to be the prophet more than Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
When they took this stance, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Revealed the above Ayah (An'am: 33)
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) is Saying to Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) that the kuffaar are rejecting the Quran not him because they believe he (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) was truthful.
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 52
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) say and why was It Revealed?
And turn not away those who invoke their Lord, morning and afternoon seeking His Face. You are accountable for them in nothing, and they are accountable for you in nothing, that you may turn them away, and thus become of the Zalimun (unjust). (An'am: 52)
This Ayah was revealed in regards to 6 sahabah:
1. Abdullah ibn Masud
2. Suhaib Ar Rumi
3. Ammar Ibn Yasir
4. Miqdad ibn Amr
5. Bilal Ibn Rabah
6. Khabab ibn Aratt (radiyallahu ‘anhum)
The kuffaar of Quraish had a class system (1st class, 2nd class etc)
And they said to the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) that
They would embrace Islam if he would drive away the six sahabah mentioned
Because they were of a lower class
(Some of these were poor and some were ex-slaves)
When the Quraish put this condition on their shahadah,
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed Surah An’am Verse 52
Did you know the kuffaar in the time of Noah (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) made a similar demand?
Over a period of 950 years he had 80 people following him
The chiefs of Noah’s town said if you drive away the poor we would follow you.
Noah (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) gave the same answer:
Noah (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) gave the same answer:
"And O my people! I ask of you no wealth for it, my reward is from none but Allāh. I am not going to drive away those who have believed. Surely, they are going to meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people that are ignorant. (Hud: 29)
Why did the kuffaar during the time of Prophet Noah (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) and during the time of the Rasool (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) say similar things?
Because Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) says the hearts of the kuffaar are alike:
Their hearts are alike, We have indeed made plain the signs for people who believe with certainty. (Baqarah: 118)
And because their hearts are alike, history will forever repeat itself.
In the world people like to have classes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd class
This is why they like to wear designer clothing
But Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Says not look down upon each other:
O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former; nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former, nor defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. How bad is it, to insult one's brother after having Faith [i.e. to call your Muslim brother (a faithful believer) as: "O sinner", or "O wicked", etc.]. And whosoever does not repent, then such are indeed Zālimûn (wrong-doers, etc.). (Hujurat: 11)
In the time of the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) the kuffaar said to drive Bilal
(radiyallahu ‘anhu) away.
But the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) heard the footsteps of Bilal in paradise
That shows we often look down on people who are better than us.
Salman al Farsi (radiyallahu ‘anhu) is another sahabah they mentioned
They want to turn Islam into an elite club by driving away the poor
They want to turn Islam into an elite club by driving away the poor
But Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) did not allow a class system.
Onecannot join the Freemasons if they live on food-stamps
The freemason club, where they worship the satan, is an ‘elite’ club
The freemason club, where they worship the satan, is an ‘elite’ club
The freemasons are lawyers, doctors etc, and people cannot join this club if you are poor or if you are a deadbeat
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 55
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) say and why was It Revealed?
And thus do We explain the Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) in detail, that the way of the Mujrimûn (criminals, polytheists, sinners), may become manifest. (An'am: 55)
When the kuffaar of Makkah were plotting against the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) to stop his dawah
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) explained to him their modus operandi in the Quran
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) sets in the Quran examples of their plots
So that the past, present and future believers can understand the plots of the kuffaar
For example, the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) suffered embargo for three years at the hands of Quraish
Today the UN puts restrictions on Muslim countries
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)is saying that He has Told us the stories of the previous prophets: Lut (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) and the homosexuals,
Moses (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) and the magicians
Ibrahim (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) and Nimrod etc
So we should expect these traits from the kuffaar of our time
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 57
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) say and why was It Revealed?
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am on clear proof from my Lord (Islāmic Monotheism), but you deny (the truth that has come to me from Allāh). I have not gotten what you are asking for impatiently (the torment). The decision is only for Allāh, He declares the truth, and He is the Best of judges." (An'am: 57)
The kuffaar of Quraish used to ask the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) mockingly, "Where is the punishment of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)?”
Similar to how Bush son of Bush said "Bring ‘em on!" in arrogance because he put his tawakkul (trust) in Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)
‘"Bring 'Em On!" - The Fifth Anniversary of Bush's Declaration of Indecency’:http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-s-mcelvaine/bring-em-on---the-fifth-a_b_110233.html
When the kuffaar of Quraish said that, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed An’am Verse 57
It is Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) who decides when and how one will get punished.
When and how they will receive the torment they asked for
When and how they will receive the torment they asked for
Soon after, they were killed like dogs at the battle of Badr when they were defeated
Narrated By Ibn Omar: The Prophet looked at the people of the well (the well in which the bodies of the pagans killed in the Battle of Badr were thrown) and said, "Have you found true what your Lord promised you?" Somebody said to him, "You are addressing dead people." He replied, "You do not hear better than they but they cannot reply." [Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2, Book 23, Hadith #452]
These same kuffaar received their torment at the battle of Badr
There are 3 types of punishment that the kuffaar will face: death on the battlefield, punishment in the grave, and to abide in Hellfire forever
Their punishment is 3 times manifold
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 91
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) say and why was It Revealed?
They (the Jews, Quraish pagans, idolaters, etc.) did not estimate Allāh with an estimation due to Him when they said: "Nothing did Allāh send down to any human being (by inspiration)." Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Who then sent down the Book which Mûsa (Moses) brought, a light and a guidance to mankind which you (the Jews) have made into (separate) papersheets, disclosing (some of it) and concealing (much). And you (believers in Allāh and His Messenger Muhammad SAW), were taught (through the Qur'ān) that which neither you nor your fathers knew." Say: "Allāh (sent it down)." Then leave them to play in their vain discussions. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubī, Vol.7, Page 37). (Al-An'am: 91)
The Jews said to the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) that Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) did not send any Books to any man
The prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) asked, "Not even to Moses (‘alayhi salatu wa salam)?"
And they replied, ‘Not even to Moses (‘alayhi salatu wa salam)’
They lied because of their envy and asabiyyah overcame them
They lied because of their envy and asabiyyah overcame them
They were envious that the best prophet was an Arab and not a Jew
Malik Ibn Saif made this statement to the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) and Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed An’am: 91
This ayah, An’am Verse 91, can also be used against the Christians
They say Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) repented in gen 6:6
And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth [Gensis 6: 6]
This ayah can be used against anyone who belittles Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) or claims that Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) begot a son
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 93
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Say and why was It Revealed?
And who can be more unjust than he who invents a lie against Allāh, or says: "I have received inspiration," whereas he is not inspired in anything; and who says, "I will reveal the like of what Allāh has revealed." And if you could but see when the Zālimûn (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching forth their hands (saying): "Deliver your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation because of what you used to utter against Allāh other than the truth. And you used to reject His Ayāt (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) with disrespect!" (An'am: 93)
This beautiful Ayah was revealed in regards to Abdullah Ibn Sa'd
He was a Christian who embraced Islam
He was a Christian who embraced Islam
He was a scribe who used to write down Quranic verses for the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) as they were revealed
But he apostatised from Islam when he claimed that Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) had revealed some Verses to him also
He invented malicious lies about the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
Saying he (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) didn't know anything
He said he taught Muhammad (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) everything he knows
So Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed surah An’am Verse 93
When this man died, his Christian friends buried him and the earth spat him out
This happened multiple times
The earth refused to have him because he was an apostate and lied about Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) and His Rasool (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 108
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Say and why was It Revealed?
And insult not those whom they (disbelievers) worship besides Allāh, lest they insult Allāh wrongfully without knowledge. Thus We have made fair seeming to each people its own doings; then to their Lord is their return and He shall then inform them of all that they used to do. (An'am: 108)
The sahabah used to insult the idols in the kaabah: lat, uzza, hubal, manat
Because of this, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed An’am: 108
To warn the sahabah that the kuffaar would insult Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) in return
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 112
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Say and why was It Revealed?
And so We have appointed for every Prophet enemies - Shayātin (devils) among mankind and jinns, inspiring one another with adorned speech as a delusion (or by way of deception). If your Lord had so willed, they would not have done it, so leave them alone with their fabrications. (Tafseer Qurtubi, Vol.7, Page 67) (An'am: 112)
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) revealed this Ayah when the chiefs of Quraish plotted against the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
What Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) is saying here is that
The jinns whisper tips to the kuffaar on how to fight Islam
NATO also uses the jinn to tell them where the mujahideen are
They think they cannot fight Islam by themselves so they ask the jinn for help
They, the freemasons, make sacrifices for the jinn
They killed the Muslims and ate them when they went to Jerusalem to fight
These aspects about freemason are not the ones that they want you to know
Their rituals are dirty, satanic and evil
Their rituals are dirty, satanic and evil

SURAH AN’AM VERSE 121
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Say and why was It Revealed?
Eat not (O believers) of that (meat) on which Allāh's Name has not been pronounced (at the time of the slaughtering of the animal), for sure it is Fisq (a sin and disobedience of Allāh). And certainly, the Shayātin (devils) do inspire their friends (from mankind) to dispute with you, and if you obey them [by making AlMaytatah (a dead animal) legal by eating it], then you would indeed be Mushrikûn (polytheists) [because they (devils and their friends) made lawful to you to eat that which Allāh has made unlawful to eat and you obeyed them by considering it lawful to eat, and by doing so you worshipped them, and to worship others besides Allāh is polytheism]. (An'am: 121)
The pagan Arabs asked the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam)
Who kills a sheep when a sheep dies on its own?
He (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam) replied that Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)killed it
The Pagan Arabs said, "Why is it when you and your companions slaughter, you call it halal but when an animal gets sick and dies, you call it haram?” (Meaning why isn’t it halal if Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala)killed it)
If Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) killed it then it should be halal
That was the logic of the Kafir during the time of the Rasool (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam), they were rationalists
A rationalist (a Murtazila) is a kafir.
Any animal that dies by itself is dead-meat and is haram
If you eat dead meat you will become a kaafir just like them
Because they are legislating and so if you follow them and eat it
You become a kafir because they made halal what is haram and you obeyed them
Note: The slaughtering of Jews and Christians is halal for you to eat.
SURAH AN’AM VERSE 122
- What did Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Say and why was It Revealed?
Is he who was dead (without Faith by ignorance and disbelief) and We gave him life (by knowledge and Faith) and set for him a light (of Belief) whereby he can walk amongst men, like him who is in the darkness (of disbelief, polytheism and hypocrisy) from which he can never come out? Thus it is made fair seeming to the disbelievers that which they used to do. (An'am: 122)
This Ayah was revealed about two men
The first man was the uncle of the Prophet (Salallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam), Hamza
Hamza (radiyallahu ‘anhu) is who Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) gave the light of Islam and iman
The other man is Abu Jahl
The man who is suffering from disbelief and shirk, which is the darkness of kufr
Question 1: You talked about Abu hanifah’s (rahimahullah) rulings on dar harb in last dars. Was it specifically for wine, or all khamr in general?
Answer 1: When I was taught this fatwa by my Sheikhs, they didn't talk about crack cocaine etc.. They spoke of collecting riba from their banks but not using it, selling pork and alcohol to the kuffaar in darul harb
You cannot practice shariah in dar ul harb hence you are allowed to sell to them these things
Question 2: Do you think that Christians also use jinns to catch the attention of the people when they say they received a message from the Holy Spirit?
Answer 2: Yes. Christians and Sufis use jinn also.
Someone may go to a fortune teller or soothsayer to find out who told his money
The Jews also use the Jinns – they practice kabala
Only a pious person doesn’t use a jinns.
Only Sulaiman (‘alayhi salatu wa salam) was allowed to use the Jinn.
Fortune tellers and soothsayers use the Jinn to tell them what's going to happen in the future, but Jinn mix truth with lies.
Fortune tellers and soothsayers use the Jinn to tell them what's going to happen in the future, but Jinn mix truth with lies.
So even their answers are not reliable.
If the Jinn agrees to work with you he will ask you to sacrifice by using his name (not Bismillah).
This is why it is haram to work with the jinn because they ask you to dabble in shirk
